Zoë T

Instructor

Zoë grew up in a nature-loving family in Virginia and Massachusetts, frequently hiking and camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains and other areas around the east coast throughout their childhood and adolescence. Zoë learned to love roughing it at a young age, taking particular pleasure from building campfires, collecting rocks, and swimming in natural bodies of water. In 2013, Zoë graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with B.A. in Social Thought & Political Economy, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in Civic Engagement & Public Service. Zoë moved to Philadelphia shortly after graduation and has since pursued a wide variety of professional interests ranging from teaching and courier work to counseling and construction. Always eager to spend more time outdoors hiking, cycling, and swimming, Zoë recently fled the confines of the city for the more open pastures of Utah in hopes of using their lived experiences, diverse skill set, and enthusiasm for the wilderness to build impactful relationships and facilitate meaningful growth in the young adult clients of Traverse.
