Camilla O

Instructor

Camilla grew up in the plains of central Illinois riding bikes and playing soccer. Her first extended outdoor experience was canoeing in Boundary Waters, Minnesota with the Girl Scouts. She received a B.A. in English Literature from Boston University and pursued a career in publishing and the book industry before landing in the surreal beauty of the southwestern United States. After exploring the rainforests of Australia and frosty glacier country of New Zealand, she focused her passion on the outdoors. In 2019 Camilla embarked on a 2,600 mile journey hiking from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. The self resilience, confidence, empathy, and connection she experienced living outside on the PCT steered Camilla towards a position working in the wilderness supporting others as they uncover their most authentic selves.
